Well our prayers were answered last week with nearly two inches of lovely steady rain.
So the paddocks have gone from this

To this, in the space of two days, amazing.

Wonderfull, and probably one of the best starts to the season for us for some years.
So no more dust, just mud.
And when Honda did this.

This is what happened

We will be feeding the sheep for a another week or so and then they will be able to get a pick. The weather has been very warm so the germination has accelerated, in fact literaly overnight the seeds started to germinate.
It is a huge relief after last year.
Not much happening on the dog front.
I have been working on Balto, Yindi and Leena and trying to get them to cast with mixed success really, Leena needs to be revved up for her cast and balto needs to slow down. Yindi is a bit in between, buit she needs to widen out more and she still runs through the stop command at times.
It is a slow process.
The young dogs have been a bit neglected, training wise, but no hurry for them.
And when this happened.
We got one of these.

Which suits me fine, more room for dogs.
My husband swerved to miss a roo and the tree got in the way, very nasty, he was unhurt but the car was a write off.
We have enlarged and cleaned out over 20 dams while it was dry. This one is a huge dam and Sam enjoyed a play while my husband drove around on top of it.
We had some heavy rain in this catchment so this dam is now half full.

This is my silly shot for the week, Balto actually has his bottom jaw in Yindi's collar.
Can't imagine why, but no-one was hurt.
Due to Yindi's colour many of the dogs like to round her up and she does get a bit hasseled sometimes.

So now it is cooler hopefully I can get some more training done.
(Yeh right)
